Making cake with just a HAND MIXER
Yesterday I'm looking for some chocolate cakes recipes in foodbuzz.com and a cute and yummy looking chocolate caught my eye, and just my luck that i have all the ingredients that i need. :))
Believe me i'ts a very sweet and yummy cake ever.!! Perfect for a first timer .. :))
What you need -- chocolate cake
1 3/4 all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups of unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup of vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla or almond extract
1 cup hot coffee of water
STEPS:
1. Pre-heat oven at 350F degrees.
2. Grease 2, 8'' cake pan or place a non-stick paper.
3. In a large bowl mix all purpose flour, sugar,unsweetened cocoa,baking soda, baking powder and salt using a spatula until it swell mix.
4. Add 2 eggs, milk and vegetable oil then mix again until it became smooth.
4. Add vanilla extract and mix again.
5. Add hot coffee and using a spatula mix thoroughly.
6. Transfer to 2 cake pan and bake at 350F degrees for about 30 minutes. Check the cake using toothpick, a toothpick inserted in center should come out with just a few moist crumbs on it. Do not over-bake!
7. Remove the cake in an oven pan and put it up side down then let it cool for about 1 hour.
What you need for Frosting-
1 1/2 pack of softened not melted unsalted butter
2 1/2 cups of confectioners sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon of milk
1 tsp vanilla or almond extract
.red food color
STEPS:
1. Put the butter in a bowl and mix it until it smoothed.
2. Add the sifted confectioners sugar and mix gently for about 1-2 minutes or until the desired thickness have made.
3. Add milk and vanilla extract and mix again. "If the frost is too thin add more confectioners sugar and if is too thick add a little bit of milk.
4. Add some drops of food color of until u get the desired color you want.
5. Spread the frost in the cake. Be Creative :))
